There it is people! My list of characters/movies that I am choosing for my party. If you noticed, Mickey and Friends is not an actual movie, but I dont like any of the Mickey Mouse movies so I just picked him and his friends as characters to do. Other than that, there are the top ten. I will begin my designs and sketches soon, and then upload them as I go.

December 28th, 2010 - Disney Cupcake Challenge

Hello my dear friends ^-^  My name is Kaitlynne, but you may call me PrincessMissCupcake. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am 18 years old. I live in a small town in Oregon State, and I am a cupcake fanatic. I love cupcakes. They are perfect! The right size, the right amount of frosting, the cute little paper cups that hold in all that tastey tiny goodness! Mmmmmm. Yumm. I have been into baking and cooking for many years now, starting when I was around age 12. I baked brownies, cakes, cookies, and of course, cupcakes.


I also love Disney. All things Disney. My boyfriend and I are nicknamed Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The majority of my life revolves around Disney. I had my 8th birthday party at Disneyland. I cosplay as Disney characters. I am currently working on a Minnie Mouse cosplay. Its my dream to have a Disney themed wedding. I love Disney lol.


I have a wonderful boyfriend, great friends, and I am looking into pastry schools at the moment. I hope to one day open my own cupcake shop and share my love of cupcakes with everyone. I am also a photographer, a painter, an author, and a sculptor. I work in mostly black and white film, but I am dabbling into digital. I do mostly landscapes and still-lifes. I write short stories, and have completed several full length books. I make cell phone charms, necklace charms, and earings.


I love Japanese culture. I love anime. I love comics. I love music. I love reading. I love movies.


Now, onto the Disney Cupcake Challenge. *Drum roll please*


My birthday is April 15th. I will be 19 years old. As it will be my last year as a "teen", I have decided to embrace my childhood and have a cupcake only birthday party with all my friends. And because I love Disney, it will be, all in all, a Disney Cupcake Party. We will watch Disney movies, have a Disney dance party, and eat cupcakes all day long. the perfect ending to my childhood, and perfect beginning, to my life as an adult. And so, I have decided to challenge myself to making all the cupcakes for my party.


Starting on Feburary 1st, I will begin my challenge by picking my top 10 favorite Disney Movies. I will then design one batch of cupcakes to match the movie I have picked. The idea is to have one batch of cupcakes (24 cupcakes) and two movie themes. I will then design one half (12 cupcakes) for one movie, and the other half for another movie, resulting in a total of 120 cupakes for a party of roughly 12 people. So, then on April 1st I will begin to actually make the cupcakes. I will post my progress. Until then, I will be posting my designs and ideas, and I would love your feedback and your comments! All help is greatly apprecitated.
